Summer in Wicklow

Bray Air Display is a two-day flying extravaganza, the perfect event for all age groups. This community organised event is the lead tourism event in Wicklow and is Ireland’s biggest air display. On the ground, family entertainment includes; a funfair, helicopter pleasure flights, FanZone and a superb food and craft market gathering over 50 food and snack traders. Bray Air Display is one of Europe's biggest airshows with 140,000 people attending the event annually. Visitors will be treated to gravity-defying manoeuvres, flyovers and aerobatic performances that will leave you speechless.

If animals aren’t really your thing, Bray Head Cliff Walk might interest you. This 7km linear walk takes you from Bray to Greystones along the stunning coastal path. The path is well-maintained and you can return by DART to the starting point. Greystones has plenty to offer the hungry walker after beautiful views and a range of marine wildlife. From the Bray start, there is a path leading to the top of Bray Head offering impressive views of the Irish Sea, the Wicklow Mountains and Bray.
Glendalough is a glacial valley in County Wicklow. For thousands of years people have been drawn to ‘the valley of the two lakes’ for its spectacular scenery, rich history, archaeology and abundant wildlife. Glendalough is a remarkable place that will still your mind and is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. There is a recreational area for picnics and also for rock-climbing. Glendalough has nine waymarked trails of varying difficulty. Despite its immense popularity, Glendalough is a deepy tranquil and spiritual place.

The club is a magnificent USGA-standard parkland course, situated between Bray Head and the Sugar Loaf Mountain with magnificent views of Killiney Beach and the Wicklow mountains.
